The present paper gives the results of microscopic examinations, chemical, and spectrochemical analyses of a mainly sulphidic ore paragenesis of which the most important minerals are chalcocite and neodigenite. The small veinlet, outcropping on the beach of the Store Sletter island in the Oslo Fjord near M oss, is situated in the immediate neighbourhood of the eastern marginal fault of the Oslo graben. The metal bearing solutions are probably derived from a basaltic magma.
