In his paper entitled "Coal Blend and Uraniferous Hydrocarbon" (1956), Dons describes some twenty localities in the Oslo region where coal blend has been found. It may be of interest to record four new occurrences. During a survey of the Permian sediments and lavas in the Lier-Asker region, about 20 kilometres WSW of Oslo, coal blend was found by the author at four localities; two in the rhomb porphyry and two in the basalt lava.
