Investigations of microtextures and determinations of composition, carried out at Fe-Ti oxides, give an idea of the way the areas passed in developing from an orthomagmatic origin through different stages of cooling down. The characteristic microtextures at boundaries of ilmenite and magnetite grains can be explained by a diffusion model. Chemical reactions, involving ilmenite and magnetite solid solution, in a minor degree a fluid phase, maintained the diffusion. Amongst the complex sulphide paragenesis, some mineral associations can be distinguished, related to the history of cooling. They depended on chemical reactions involving a fluid phase controlled by the Fe-Ti oxides. The textures of mineral grains, resulting from deformation and granulation, recovery of crystall and recrystallization, exsolution and several reactions, are shown by opaque as weil as by translucent minerals. They give proof of intensive movements of foliation at different times during the thermal history of ore and rock formation.
